I have to keep reminding myself that I'm only 30!!

Ok, so here's a quick medical update. The lady doing my hearing test the other day said that she couldn't see any sign of infection or damage and that compared to my right ear, I only have slight hearing loss in my left ear. Which is good news, but she said she didn't know what could be causing the pain and occassional ringing I've been dealing with.

The cat scan of my head was normal and the weird vision issues I was having seem to have stopped. So luckily I didn't hit my head hard enough to cause any damage. Although my doc has said that I should wear a helmet from now on when cleaning the litter boxes! LOL

And that leads us back to my chest pains. My doc didn't agree with the MEC doc, she doesn't think it's pleurisy. She seemed to think it might be some kind of stomach issue or something, so she ordered an upper GI. That came back normal, but still leaves me no closer to knowing what's wrong. My doc has now ordered a cat scan of my chest, and we're awaiting insurance approval. Meanwhile, the pain has worsened and pain pills don't help at all. I have noticed that the pain does seem to ease some when I'm laying down, but how often can I really stay laying down? I called my doc again today to see if there was something she could give me to try to help with the pain, but I'm still waiting to hear back. The pain was so bad the other night that I had to leave work early. On top of the pain, which is worse when I breathe, it also causes shortness of breath. Which obviously is worse when I'm working/exerting myself, and I think that is why I was feeling so light-headed at work the other night. The pain was pretty bad again last night, and I think even J is starting to really get concerned. I just don't know what to do. I'm tired of falling apart.
