Silly me and my bad memory
Well, I had a few things I wanted to share with you guys, but then most of them slipped my mind during that last update, so when a sweet friend of mine reminded me that I forgot some stuff, I decided I needed to do another quick update.
I was up late Thursday night...had to make another visit to the emergency vet. Seems a treble hook was left out and Jakob was sweet enough to find it for us...with his mouth. Luckily only 1 of the 3 hooks was stuck in his mouth, but it was really stuck and we couldn't get it out. Thankfully the vet was able to get it out without much trouble and said he should be just fine. I was terrified for a while because there were 3 huge sinkers with the hook and we could only find 2, and I feared that Jakob had somehow managed to swallow the 3rd one, but I finally found the missing one. I was so happy I almost cried. Jakob seems to be doing fine, back to his normal self, no doubt looking for more trouble to get into.
Keep your fingers crossed...I had an interview Friday. They said I should hear something one way or the other by this Friday. I was so excited to finally hear something back from someone that I didn't even think to ask how much I would be making, but anything right now is better than nothing. LOL
