My new on-line favs
Don't you hate it when you're surfing the net or playing games on-line and you don't have anything good to listen to?? Well, not any longer, I will share the secret. www.phoenixfireradio.com This on-line radio station is the greatest! You can go to the request page and request up to 7 songs an hour when there's not a dj on. And you don't have to wait forever to hear them, they usually play after the current song is over. And when there is a dj on, just IM them to see if they're taking requests. If you're a night owl like me, then you'll love dj_black, he's awesome! We usually keep him so busy with great requests, that he's stayed on after his time just to finish them up. Got a really great classic rock oldie you've been dying to hear, just IM him and ask if he has it. I've been surprised by how many of my requests he's had. For a special treat, ask him to play Lola by The Kinks, tell him it's for me, or for him, he'll love it!! Don't forget Two for Tuesday, always a fav of mine, twofers are the best!
Now that we've got the great music covered, what to do to stay busy on-line so you can hear all those great songs, but still have fun!?! Well, check out Pyramids on yahoo games. It's my new addiction. You can find me in the room Reret. The people in there are wonderful, so nice, so polite. And for even more fun playing mids in Reret, try joining the koolmids league. You get to play in tourneys and even win LadderBux. (I'm still not 100% sure what all they're for.) Here's the link: www.myleague.com/koolmids.

Okay, forgot to mention this part, but you can only request 20 songs a day from the request page. But if a dj is on, then it's fair game! We had so much fun bombarding dj_black52 with requests last night, that we kept him on until almost 2:30. He still had an hour and a half of requests left to play, but got booted off the air. 9 to 11, yeah right, we prefer 9 to 3 or later!!! Check it out and see all the fun you've been missing!
